Dr. Sanders has two children. He enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and refereeing soccer.
Biography
Dr. Sanders spent his younger years in various military bases throughout the world and then settled in Tallahassee, Florida. He attended Florida State University for his undergraduate degree and the Program in Medical Services for his first year of medical school. He graduated from the University of Florida, School of Medicine in 1978 and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is board certified in Family Medicine with a certificate of added qualification in Sports Medicine. Dr. Sanders was Chairman of the Department of Family and Emergency Medicine at Archbold Memorial Hospital from 1996 to 1997 and Chief of Staff at Archbold Memorial Hospital in 2007.
