Biography
Dr. Reams grew up in nearby Lamont, Florida. He graduated from Oxford College of Emory University. He received his B.A. from Emory University and did his first year of Graduate School at Florida State University in the PIMS program. He then attended the University of Miami, School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Duke School of Medicine. He moved to Thomasville in 1978. Calvin J. Reams, MD and Al Meyer, MD founded Thomasville Family Medicine in 1980 where Dr. Reams had continued practicing for over 30 years. He was Chief of Staff at Archbold Memorial Hospital from 1989-1990.
