Dr. Thomson enjoys woodworking, camping, martial arts, and cooking.

Biography

Dr. Thomson lived in Atlanta for 19 years until moving to Thomasville in July of 2000. He received his BS in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Georgia State University. During his undergraduate study, Dr. Thomson received special recognition for work in chemistry. He then attended medical school at Emory University School of Medicine and went on to Atlanta Medical Center (Georgia Baptist Hospital) for his residency training in Family Medicine. During his last year of residency, Dr. Thomson performed the duties of Chief Resident for the Atlanta Medical Center Family Practice Residency Program. Special interests include diabetes and mood disorders.
